Welcome!
Hola & Welcome to my site.
I’m Sandra Crespo, aka The NeuroSpicy Social Worker!
I’m not your typical social worker—I’m all about shaking things up (in the best way possible). As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, professor, and advocate for diversity, I’m on a mission to make mental health and leadership spaces more inclusive, accessible, and, honestly, a lot more fun.
By day, I’m the Clinic Director for Transformations Care Network in the DMV area, where I lead a multidisciplinary practice that blends progressive technology with heartfelt, inclusive care. By night (or whenever inspiration hits), I dive into my work as the founder of the Unalome Consulting Group (UCG), where I coach and empower current and future leaders, with a special focus on uplifting the LatinX and Neurodivergent communities.
Over the years, I’ve worn many hats—from creating the Youth Overcoming Unique Realities (Y.O.U.R.) initiative in DC that drastically reduced youth recidivism rates, to speaking on stages where I share my passion for celebrating neurodiversity and building leadership pipelines for underrepresented groups.
As a proud NeuroDivergent leader myself, I know firsthand the challenges (and superpowers!) that come with having a “spicy brain.” My goal is to inspire others to embrace their quirks and turn them into their biggest strengths. Whether I’m coaching, advocating, or speaking, I’m all about helping people discover their potential and use it to create meaningful change.
When I’m not working or working on my dissertation as a Doctor of Social Work (DSW) candidate at Simmons University, you can usually find me traveling, loving on my pups, or staying connected to my Puerto Rican roots.
If you’re ready to laugh, learn, and lead with purpose, I’m here to help you every step of the way. Let’s do this! 🌟
